Here is Steph holding some trophies that He won at the Canadian Open BBQ Championship in Barrie a few years back....He placed 2nd overall and it was His first competition.
Other
Accomplishments: *** 1988. Involved in the preparation of food for a luncheon reception for the Duchess of York and Prince Andrew.
*** 1989. Involved in the preparation of food for a ceremonial gathering for Pope John Paul in Toronto Ontario.
*** 1989-1991. Involved in the preparation of food for various noted actors in Toronto during Photo-shoots and Film Work.
*** 2004 Open BBQ Championship in Barrie Ontario, received 2nd place in the beef category, second place in the chicken category and fourth place in the Pork category placing him 2nd place overall at the Canadian.
*** 2005 and 2006 Ottawa Citizen Food Section, feature article on grilling, smoking and planking foods.
*** 2005 to Present. Private grilling and smoking demonstrations at various locations for a variety of clients, in Ottawa, including corporate and charitable events.
*** 2005 to 2008. Resident Chef at Capital Appliance and BBQ in Ottawa. Sole demonstrator for a Dinner Theatre Concept to Grilling and Smoking Techniques.
*** 2006 to Present. Catered Charity Dinner at Camp Misquah for "Adult Camp Week".
*** 2007 HPBA, Reno, Nevada. Guest Chef for CFM Corporation demonstrating grilling and smoking techniques in front of crowds exceeding 500 guests representing all facets of the Hearth and Patio Industry.
*** 2007 Landsdowne Park, "The Guy Show". Whole wild boar spit roasting techniques as well as daily demonstrations.
*** 2008 Landsdowne Park, "Big Backyard show". Feature Speaker and Demonstrator on Embridge Gas Stage in association with the Meech Creek Show Company and Capital Appliance and BBQ.
*** 2008. Official Launch of "Steph The Grilling Gourmet™” Dry Rubs.

*** 2010 Feature Demonstrator and Speaker for Plumrose USA at the IDDBA Trade Show in Houston Texas.
